(Kennedy Space Center, Florida) – XCOR Aerospace will begin building rocket engines and potentially a suborbital spacecraft at Kennedy Space Center, bringing with it 152 space industry jobs to Brevard County, Florida Today reports.
The Mojave, Calif.-based company will make the official announcement on Aug. 23.
Florida Today reports that XCOR’s invitation to the official announcement at Astronaut Encounter Theater at KSC Visitor Complex says that KSC was the only Florida site the company scouted in the state.
