(Orlando, Florida) – Orlando’s former basketball superstar may be moving to Los Angeles, but could still call Orlando home – well, one of his homes.
As former Orlando Magic player Dwight Howard takes off for Los Angeles to play for the Lakers, he may still keep his $7.8 million Seminole County home, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Karen Arbutine, a Re/Max Central Realty agent who represented Howard when he purchased the home, told the Sentinel she thought Howard would keep the house because “it’s just that special of a house.”
The 10,000-square-foot home, dubbed Chatheau d’ Usse after a 15th-century castle in France, is isolated on 3 acres off Markham Woods Road in Seminole County. The home overlooks a private lake and boasts a marble foyer and oversized fireplace.
But if Howard does decide to sell the home, Arbutine told the Sentinel he might get $6.5 million for it, which is $1.3 million less than what he paid in 2008.
