EUSTIS, FL – Patricia Sullivan for Congress – Patricia Sullivan announced Friday, April 02, 2010, she is the only candidate in a potentially crowded field Certified by Signature to contest Democrat Alan Grayson in Florida’s 8th Congressional District by the Florida Division of Elections. “Many candidates will talk the talk of fiscal responsibility but we actually walked the walk and saved $10,440 of donor money by not ‘buying’ our way onto the ballot, but by working hard,” said Sullivan, one of several candidates expected to qualify for the Republican primary August 24, 2010. Sullivan gathered more signatures than required to put her on the ballot in the 8th district, the Florida Division of Elections verified well over 4,600 signatures on Patricia’s petitions.

Conservative Republican Patricia Sullivan is the choice of the people of the 8th district to represent them in DC. The only candidate in the 8th District to get on the ballot by signed petition, the others have to buy their way on. Patricia Sullivan =s Fiscal Responsibility, the other candidates are stuck in the mode of fiscal irresponsibility by wasting their supporters money on something that could have been done by hard work and dedication. Hooray for Patricia Sullivan. This may seem like a “small” deal, but as my father use to say “… if you take care of the small issue, the big ones will take care of themselves…” What the 8th district needs is a fiscally responsible representative. One that will represent all 8th district constituents … not just those on the far left. What Congress needs are more representatives who are fiscally responsible. Representatives like Patricia Sullivan.

Congrats to Patricia Sullivan and her volunteers for all the hard work. You have shown that you do get it when it comes to using money wisely. I guess the others are just getting use to writing those checks intead of working hard to spend money wisely. Thank you for being different than those already in Washington.
